Chauncey has always had a passion for people and fishing. His first memory of fishing was, “sitting on my Old Man’s shoulders in a diaper throwing a spinner.” That soon grew into a full-fledged addiction to Fly Fishing and the pursuit of large trout in small streams.
In 2014 the Goodrich’s faced cancer together when Angie battled breast cancer. The Goodrich’s have lost many family members and friends to cancer and going through our own battle and losing a close personal friend right after Angie’s fight made it that much clearer just how far-reaching and indiscriminate cancer is.
Chauncey had the idea for this tournament for a long time but not the means, help, or urgency to make it a reality, but now he felt it was time to try. He knew of the loyal and generous support our county gives to Kickin’ Cancer and wanted to find a way to bring them more financial support from donors outside Sublette County. The reality of FFF was born and in its first year, raised just under $90,000! All the money raised went directly to the families in need and our goals to expand FFF have become a reality. Since its inception in 2017, FFF has raised over 1 million dollars and county. Thanks for helping in the FIGHT!
