Darren Rhea

Darren was born and raised in Jackson Hole, where he spent much of his early years exploring the backcountry of Wyoming. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and Management, and a Master’s Degree in Zoology and Physiology. Darren started his career as a Biologist with the US Geological Survey and later as a Fisheries Biologist with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
For the past 20 years Darren has worked in the Jackson and Pinedale Regions where he has worked on the Green, Snake, Salt, Hoback and Greys rivers and many of their tributaries. Much of his work today focuses on the management of sport fisheries and the conservation of native species in western Wyoming. When he is not working, Darren enjoys spending time with his three boys in any and all manners of outdoor recreation.
