Dusty Ratcliff
Guide
Dusty Ratcliff was born and raised in Powell, Wyoming, where his earliest and fondest memories are of chasing trout on local rivers and high mountain lakes with his dad. Those childhood days on the water planted a lifelong love of fly fishing that was rekindled after high school, thanks to his great friend – and self-described fly fishing genius – Kyle Bakko.
Dusty went on to marry his college sweetheart, and together they’ve raised three amazing kids. Their oldest is an electrical engineer, their middle daughter is serving alongside her husband in Burma with the incredible organization Free Burma Rangers, and their youngest daughter is currently tearing up the basketball and volleyball courts as a sophomore at Cody High School.
For the past 20 years, Dusty has worked in the oil and gas industry, a career that has taken his family between Texas, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Today, Cody, Wyoming is home. In recent years, he has combined his passion for fly fishing with a heart for service by guiding for Fishing for the Fight – an outstanding organization that provides meaningful support to those in need across the state of Wyoming. Through both his work and his time on the water, Dusty is grateful for every opportunity to serve others and share the places and pursuits he loves most.
